VK "Kuanysh" is a women's volleyball club, was formed on September 3, 2014, in the North Kazakhstan region, the city of Petropavlovsk, represents this region in the National League and Children's Leagues for different ages.
The Kuanysh volleyball club was formed from a rural team in 2009 on the basis of a rural Kazakh boarding school in Timiryazevsky district. They regularly represented the North Kazakhstan region at the children's volleyball championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan and repeatedly became winners and prize-winners of these competitions. For further development of the team, in 2012 they entered the Top League "B", where they took 3rd place in the 2012-2013 season.
In 2013, on the initiative of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, a women's volleyball department was opened on the basis of a regional specialized boarding school for gifted children in sports. In the 2013-2014 season, the team becomes the winner of the Highest League "B" and, according to the sporting principle, rises to the Highest League "A". In the 2016-2017 season, the team becomes the winner of the A-League and moves to the National League.
In the debut season of 2017-2018 in the National League, the team takes 7th place, and the reserve team under 23 becomes the owner of silver medals.
In the 2018-2019 game season, the team took 5th place.
In the 2019-2020 game season, the team stopped a step away from the bronze medals and took 4th place.
In the 2020-2021 season, the team took 3rd place.
In the 2021-2022 season, the team won the 3rd place in the RK Cup and the 3rd place in the 30th The Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In addition to achievements at the domestic level, on the account of VK "Kuanysh" the Championship title of the Asian Club Championship in 2022, which was held in the city of Semey in 2022, where the Champions of Thailand, Iran took part, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
